ONE week, yes 7 days from now, we will be on a plane crossing the ocean to meet our little girl!!!! So what better way to celebrate then to gather with friends and family for a 5K?!! My friend Jamie did a fabulous job putting it all together and we can't thank her and her family enough for all they did!!

We made these cute bracelets that say "I was part of Kareen's Miracle" to give as a small token of our gratitude to those who have supported us and given to Kareen these last few months so PLEASE if you are reading this I want to send you one of these!! PLEASE email me at keciajcox@msn.com with your address (and how many you would like) so I can send you one because we would not have been able to do this without all of YOU and this is just a small way we can thank you!

This truly is a miracle that we are all a part of! One little girl is being rescued and given life and every step of this has been miraculous!
***If you are local, check out Channel 2 news tonight...they were at the race and may have a story on it*****
So happy to see your great turn out. It brought tears to my eyes. What an amazing journey. I have been following both you and Heather so I immediately started crying when I saw her and Anya there in your picture. I believe that Anya and Kareen knew each other long before they came to earth:)
ReplyDeleteI would love a bracelets but I donated before Kareen had you as a family. Is that Okay? If so I will send you my address.
Thanks for being so great about blogging and sharing the joy of your miracle with all of us.
Looks really fun! How cool to see a pic of you and Heather - and you got to meet Anya!! Awesome! So excited for y'all, you'll be on your way in a WEEK!!! :) Can't wait to see pics from EE!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we got to come! It was such a beautiful day and the route was so nice and pretty, and Anya only complained for the last 10 minutes or so. lol Also, I had a great time getting to know Jodi as we walked and shared our adoption/foster stories. I'm always amazed at the miracles that happen when people follow thier hearts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us be so much a part of this journey with you. It has been an amazing things to be involved with. Good luck this week!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see the great turnout! We were sad to miss it, but Zoe had a dance competition.
ReplyDeleteGood luck this week! We love you guys!
Oh I'm so glad this event happened and was such a success! We had a family conflict and didn't know about it until 12:00 that day! OH MAN we are so bummed we missed it. But we still want to donate! I'll e-mail you directly and see how to make that happen. SO EXCITED FOR YOU!
ReplyDeleteHi! Someone from our RR family sent me to this blog post - so beautiful! I know you are about to leave the country, but I wondered if you could put me in touch with your friends who put together the 5K for you guys... We are adopting from EE and our friends are putting together a 5K fundraiser as well, but we are all logistically clueless. Talking with someone experienced would be a great help.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and I'm SO excited you're traveling so soon!
Blessings,
Shannon
